In Traditional Chinese Medicine,
the goal is to restore the patient to a harmonious state.

Diagnosis.

Whether a harmony or disharmony condition exists in the body can be found out by four diagnostic techniques.

These include a detailed examination by questioning, visual observation (including tongue diagnosis), palpation (including pulse diagnosis), as well as the odor of the patient. An effective diagnosis can identify the cause of the problem and lead to an effective treatment, e.g. subsequently applied in acupuncture. The time of diagnosis depends on your individual situation. At least 20 minutes are required, but a full hour may also be appropriate.

Therapy.

Based on the previous diagnosis, I create a unique Acupuncture Point Plan.

This is individually tailored to the patient and makes it possible to bring the body back into balance. Classic Chinese acupuncture points are used throughout the body. I take enough time with each treatment to stimulate the correct needling sensation ("De Qi" sensation). I use only very high quality disposable needles for the acupuncture practice. Depending on the situation, the treatment lasts 30 to 60 minutes - while your body relaxes. Acupuncture is especially effective against pain symptoms. The uses of acupuncture are very diverse and go well beyond treatments of muscles and joints. It also has a regulating effect on the nervous system and can even activate the immune system. In a consultation, we can clarify whether acupuncture is suitable for you as a treatment.

Prices/ Insurance Coverage.

Acupuncture may be covered, at least partially, by private insurance or your supplementary insurance.
